In the interest of keeping my now beautifully cleaned, sparkling craft area, spacious and tidy for awhile, I'm the travelling crafter with my big ole leather lapdesk! This is my favorite lapdesk ever--the leathery surface grips things, so it's great to pile onto. I snapped this when I was working on a quickie crochet cord for a pendant. But even a quick little project requires stuff being spread out!

I'm making pendant cords from this Oceanside Organic cotton yarn--love it! I was born in Oceanside, California, so I just like the idea of it. I'm finding rock-like pendants and big glass pendants to make these necklaces--and I'm making the cords really long, and beading them too. Kinda fun!
The organic cotton yarn is really soft--and I just have tons of little beads, perfect to play with.
My other workdesk has been my gardening basket, as of lately. Snipping goodies from the cutting garden and picking tomatoes for canning. It's the end-of-summer goodness. Ahhh.
Eat, Write, Dream, and Stitch up a little happiness.
great start to that necklace! Happy woyww-Lindsay #10
