Dear Crafty Corner...Please Don't Hate Me...WOYWW 405

Dear What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday, oh my goodness I have missed you lovelies so much!! I can't believe I've been absent this many weeks from the coolest desk party on the planet...especially my crafty babes across the pond!!

And what do I have to share today, a mess! I think my crafty corner of the world hates me because, even though my show is over, I feel like I've had a million things going on and taking me away from my happy place! Now, mind you, it is not bad, because I've been having too much fun. But as you know, it all just turns into...what did Julia say today...a craft junkyard? Yes!! I'm with Julia on that.
Remember those crafty totes I told you about weeks ago? Well thank goodness for them, because they have helped alleviate what would be a giant mess. Instead it's just a medium mess on the craft table--enough to bug me.
I love these totes a ton, and they have taken the abuse of me just stuffing things in there because I don't have time to organize and think about it. This is the crafty tote that takes the mess off my desk. See how I bought Valentines stickers I did NOTHING with! Sad. They are cute though. I have a heart fetish.
This is my art journaling, bible journaling tote. Same story. I stuff stuff, get ready, and leave the house for all the things going on...retreats and resorts...my new aerobics class I love...choir practice...get togethers...committee meetings...I would like there to be two of me. I kinda love washi tape by the way! I get so distracted, it's like...shiny!
Here's something that might save me...they had a big sale on storage/organizers at Michaels and I thought this was cute. It's going to take some thought though.

In the meantime...I took a teenage-style selfie in the office ladies' just to show you I'm still alive!!

I'm off for some visits, and I can't wait to see you lovelies and what you've been up to.

  5. oooh the rainbow effect is fun on the storage Sandy, Love the selfie too :) I am impressed you have packed things in the totes to be able to craft on the go. ( So far I have stamped some images but, not really found anything I "love" for transporting them yet. ah, we remodeled our living room (that had two floor lamps in it, and the spare room that will become a library/media room is where the table and other two lamps came out of. so, it does sound terrible when you count the floor & table lamps being all piled in one room but, my eyes are aging faster than the rest of me. Thanks for the earlier visit, ~Stacy #39

  6. Loving your crafty junkyard - it's full of colour! I have one of those plastic drawer units too - they're great for storing all sorts of things, and because it's see-through, you always know which drawer to go for. Lovely photo of you! Glad you made it to WOYWW this week and thanks for visiting earlier! zsuzsa #30

  16. We know you've been up to your eyeballs in shows and other stuff so it's fine, it's great to see you back by the way. And that selfie...are you Dorian Gray or something because how can you possibly be older than me?? YOu look about 20!! Those crafty totes are worth every single penny huh, the amount of stuff you cram in there is amazing. Imagine what your desk would look like if all that was strewn across it! Glad you're keeping well and happy :-D

  20. Hi Sandy! I love how you are corralling the massive items of creative inspiration. I saw that last item at Michaels tonight. Wish they'd had it on solid color drawers... life if I could get all blue. How about that snow last night? I drove from Fayetteville to Eureka Springs in it last night. I'm in your town today and tomorrow. Will probably be back in the city later in the week. Email me if you want to connect. Creative Blessings! Kelly #37
