WOYWW 358--Work It Like a Boss

Good Wednesday to you! I have no idea why I put that in my title--I guess if I was the craft boss around here...which I am...my desk would be piled up with crafty loveliness...and so would my lap. And here it is, on my lap, my cross-stitch room of the month for April is just the little sunporch on the end of the third floor of the dollhouse and it is almost done. Yeeyah! Underneath that, I was making an entry in my food exercise journal, and I'm only showing it to be encouraging. This isn't my first time at the food journaling rodeo. But, let me tell you, I've been so much better about it when employing my craftiness. I use a cute smashbook datestamp with sayings on it, washi tape, stickers and doodling. Really keeps my food/exercise journal much more interesting! And when I post in there any results, like when I occasionally weigh myself, or get a checkup done, I can go back and find it very easily.
And here's crafty boss lady's desk! I was drinking morning coffee, playing my game on the tablet, making pom poms and planning when to use those Charming Charlie coupons! So, I hope you find me at the end of the WOYWW list this week. Have a lovely day lovely.

Kitting, Doodling and Cross-Stitching--WOYWW 357

Happy Wednesday. I'm sharing what's on my workdesk with other creative types around the globe right here:
What's-on-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday

While I've been at my desk a lot...making plans...doodling...stitching...watching YouTube...I haven't made a dent in any new projects. Yet. But the  time is coming! First of all, I love having that little green basket on my desk when I'm getting ready to play with paper...it serves as a handy little waste basket. Second, I'm knitting both coasters and a stack of face cloths--I'm giving the face cloths as a gift with a big bar of artisan lavendar soap! I think it will look cute all wrapped up with a ribbon. And last but not least, I got a new set of beautiful pens, with ultra-fine no-dry tips, and I'm loving them for my planner, art journal, and scrapbook pages already. The package comes with its own easel, so you can keep them all together. A girl I watch on  YouTube uses them for Project Life--and she was right, they are perfect for journaling and doodling.

Next--I'm already behind with the March sewing room in the dollhouse. But since I'm about to finish it, I'll soon move onto the April room, and it's smaller and the last thing on the third floor--a sunporch! Several have asked me if this is a pattern. Last year El Blog de DMC published one room a month of this super cute cross-stitch pattern. And you can still download it for free right here. This link will take you to the whole house and the first room--from there you can see each month in 2015 where she posted a room pattern.
Now, onto more serious matters. I was so upset about Downton Abbey ending, I kept the last two episodes in limbo on my DVR for weeks. I finally brought myself to watch them last weekend. Oh my goodness. I had sad tears, happy tears, sentimental tears. I was a mess. But in the end, very happy. And I will stop there because I don't want to spoil a thing for any DA fans. Just know, it's worth watching every season of it! It's in my DNA now, so I'll probably re-watch the whole thing every year.

Have a lovely week lovelies.
