The worktable, a mess, the chores not done...the crafter was working on a gingerbread house for fun.
Just as she was back to her sparkly aida cloth there appeared...
happy mail!!! From those two UK lovelies, Jan and Julia so dear.
It was one of Jan's beautiful tote bags, the best kind of surprise. The crafter squealed and got a sparkle in her eyes!
So from my gingerbread house to yours a happy Wednesday to all, I am packing up my tote bag to hit the mall!

Love the poem! Clever you to tie it in with all the festive going on at your house! I'm so glad you like the tote, it's one of my favourite combos and I just love that yellow flower button...so bright and cheery and perfect for you:-) I hope it gives you many years' good service.
ReplyDeleteI've always thought about making a gingerbread house but never had a go. Is there anything special about the recipe to make it firmer than normal? I love your finished result...straight out of a fairy tale :-)
Sending special Christmassy hugs,
LLJ 20 xx

ReplyDeleteLove your little gingerbread house, Sandy, it's really sweet. Lots of activity on your desk this week! Thanks for your visit and your good wishes for my mum and hubby. Mum seems to have bounced right back after her recent TIAs. Soap making is really easy and such fun! There are lots of tuts on Youtube, Pinterest etc. etc. and you can get stuff easily on Ebay etc. I've been stocking up! Hope to get a bit of soap made before Christmas.

Thanks for dropping by my desk, and I can't tell you where the Hullo Kitty Big shot came from, OH bought it online about 5 years ago and was surprised that it was Hullo Kitty when it arrived because it wasn't shown as that on the website. It is dying unfortunately, I have used it a lot, maybe I can ask for a new one next year.
