WOYWW 294--Crafty Recycling

Happy Wednesday Deskers!

 Hop around worktables at What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday.
I'll have a stitch-tini.
I was having my morning cuppa and using my mini trimmer on a recycling project. I decided that a pretty wall pocket calendar from 2013 could be recycled with those free downloadable calendar pages, and it worked! I used washi tape to install the pages very nicely, and decorated them. Now I have my favorite wall pocket calendar back in the kitchen--and it was all free because I used my stash. Go crafty stash! (Posting the project on the blog for tomorrow when all the pages are done.)

 I'm staying short today. Hugs!

    This is a great idea, Sandy. I will have to remember it as I have lots of calenders with pictures that I love that I can't get rid of just'cos they are out of date. I can feel some recycling coming on ready for next year!!

    Thanks for your visit. The base of the teapot mini that I made is a chipboard album that can sometimes be found in the dollar rack at Michael's. They do change the content often, but there have been different shaped chipboard minis in there often.

    'Twas ever the case....you start out being an angel in the Nativity play, progress through being the Scarecrow and end up being a character part!! Mind you, I was always Herod in the church plays!!! Never the angel or fairy....sniff. And I've jumped to being a witch now, lol!! I'm sure your hubby and mine would probably get on well....my son has a very quick and funny sense of humour too :-)

    Ah Sandy...it's actually good to be running late to comment cos saw the two posts up above as well you did a great job on the calendar y'know it looks fab. I've just started to find washi in the cheap shops and now have about eight rolls till then only had one.
    I love it on up cycling things as does look great.
