WOYWW 218--A Little Crafty Time Soothes the Soul

Happy What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday lovelies! And I am happy to be feeling like myself with some energy going on. Last week a horrible sinus headache got the best of me. All I could do was knit. Barely.

This week, I'm happy, and working on a tag on my desk, along with working on my organizer, and upcycling a breadcrumb container!

Let your desk join the blog party at What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday over at Mrs. Dunnit's!

After some medicine, my pain subsided, and once I was back up and crafting away with my papers, markers, stamps and stickers, it was truely like therapy. As if I set up my own little craft spa. You don't realize how thankful you are for every day at your crafty table, until you have absolutely no energy and can't do a thing!

Whilst feeling sorry for myself, I watched Season Three of Downton Abbey again! I just wanted Carson to bring me some tea, Mrs. Patmore to make me a pie, and have a nice conversation with Lady Grantham.

Hugs and happiest of hump days everyone!

Sorry you were poorly, I suffer from sinus headaches too, it's no fun :-(. But I'm glad that crafting is lifting your spirits now!

  11. Love your sentiment...crafting always soothes me, and if my Mojo is resting then this WOYWW certainly helps when you get to visit other desks. Always trying to think of uses for odd containers or interesting pieces of card, too. Cheers RobynO#51

  26. Hope you are fully recovered by now, Sandy. Thanks for your lovely comment! So glad you enjoyed all the photos. I feel very ashamed that it took a year for me to get round to uploading the ATC swap post... I've had loads of lovely comments about it and it makes me realise I should have shared this ages ago!

  27. First time visiting your blog...You look like a very crafty lady with your paper crafting, sewing, knitting! Wow! I used to do some of that...like the sewing (MY machine is gathering dust now) Knitting...I think I've fotgotten how to even cast on anymore...etc.

Downton Abby, I have just caught a few previews on TV, but it looked like something I would like...so I bought a DVD a few weeks ago...(the first series...but I haven't had the time to look at it yet...
Hope you are feeling better...and Happy crafting to you. Jill

  29. Glad art is therapy for you. I've heard that from many, many crafters. I'm playing catch up after having been offline for nearly three days due to internet woes associated with our recent rain. BTW, what is a breadcrumb container?

Happy quite belated WOYWW from #2.
