Oh my--it is a dark morning and this photo was taken minutes ago on an actual USA Wednesday morning.
Happy What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday!
I have a lot of crafty catching up to do as I survey the landscape and drink my coffee. Stitching on my reindeers makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something at least--I am adding beads and words to each one too. But I am happy to report that I made one of the variegated cross-stitched reindeers into a combination card and baby's-first-ornament for a baby shower I went to last weekend. I stitched in the baby's name, stitched it onto the cardstock, added a ribbon handle and bob's your uncle. Now I am once again abandoning my happy place to get to the office--Minnie (my cat) will keep my chair warm.
Happy Wednesday!

Don't you just wish you could stay in your happy place all day long!? I so envy people who can make a living out of their creations! Have a good day at the office - I bet Minnie will sleep all they long! Thanks for visiting earlier! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #40
ReplyDeletePS. I thought "Bob's your uncle" was a British expression. Good to know you guys over the pond use it as well!
ReplyDeleteLove that cup.....I have never taken to cross stitching but love whatever one else does and admire the patience one has to continue and finish a project

Glad you like the voucher, they are a bit addictive once you start Sandy xx
ReplyDeleteI know! I didn't want to go outdoors this morning either.....could have stayed in stitching all day :-). I haven't got that much more to do now, I've done quite well catching up with what needs to be done, prezzy wise. I have spent quite a lot of time in the Post Office recently and everything I've sent to you has gone through there!
ReplyDeleteWhat you did with the reindeer for your nephew sounds great, you've really enjoyed doing those haven't you? I'm enjoying making the corsages at the moment, it's handy for using up scraps and beads!
Hugs, LLJ 21 xx
Love that you are making the Reindeer into an ornament keepsake. But, what really has my attention is your coffee mug. I LOVE THE TINK!! Thanks for popping by and leaving kind comments. Keep smiling and creating.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you do your cross stitch as gifts. Those reindeer are cute, as is your Tinkerbell mug. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and for the comments.
Happy creating and happy Woyww,

Love the little reindeer, Sandy, and a nice big cup of coffee lol! Thanks for your visit and your nice comment - I hate my desk to be this tidy because it means nothing is happening on it lol!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Magical morning! I love your Tinkerbell mug!
ReplyDeleteI do like your reindeer cross stitching. Will you show us the finished cards? I love cross stitch, as it is easy and I don't need to think (apart from count of course)
Thanks for stopping by at my page and leaving your kind comment,

I like the little reindeer :) would love to see him when he is finished. I used to do cross stitch when I was a teenager and sell them at the local school craft fair. Ah, life was much less complicated then lol. Thanks for visiting earlier... Hugs! Shel #60
ReplyDeleteCute cross stitch!
