WOYWW 267--Taking a Moment Out from My Stenciling 101 Class

What are you making today? It's What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday, and we never know what we might find on each other's work tables! I almost always have something I'm stitching, something I'm cutting, coloring or painting, and then lots of bits and bobs. Today I'm taking an online stenciling 101 class--it's very good--and I'm having a play in my art journal.
This is the stencil I'm playing with today from Balzer Designs
These are my watercolor pencils--waiting for me to play with them!
This is my little cross-stitch-a-go-go bag.
See you soon!

  2. What are you using to colour through the stencil? Those watercolour pencils? It's amazing what tutorials are out there these days..anything and everything! I'm glad your'e enjoying it, yours is the umpteenth desk I've seen today with stencils on. Must be a return of the craze..I remember stencilling a pattern all around my dining room walls in the 80s, it was the height of fashion then to do that!
I love your little go-go bag as well, that cross stitch heart is really pretty!
I was thinking of you yesterday as I was harvesting veg from my garden, feeling a green fingered kinship with my mate in the Ozarks doing the same thing. I've got a glut of peas, they're so delicious, I'm eating them raw like sweeties! And the new potatoes taste so buttery when they've just been pulled out the ground. Yum Yum!!

  4. It looks like you are into just about anything crafty, but playing with stencils has got to be the best at times, you just never know what will come on on the paper, a cornucopia of creativity for sure.

  12. Your cross stitch a-go-go bag is sweet and tiny...I thought that my crochet stuff was relatively portable, but by comparison it's like a trunk! That's a verry useful stencil I must say, glad that you're getting something for the course.
