Ear Candy On My Worktable--WOYWW #250

Happy What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday No. 250! Woo hoo! I send out a big hug and thanks to our delightful hostess for this fabulous linky party, Ms. Julia Dunnit and her blog, Stamping Ground.

Visit the linky party here. And if you've never joined a linky party, Julia has all the instructions. And then you too can see what your crafty tribe members are working on all over the planet.

Now, onto my worktable. Look at that huge space! Wow! I was actually cleaning up and rearranging a bit after a two-week long dabble in my bead stash! But it's very fun because I'm learning to make bubble wands and earrings for my spring and fall craft shows. I also did quite a bit of die-cutting to make tags for the earrings and get a nice stash of die-cuts going for a line of sewing-themed cards I'm making too.

Now I'm not a jewelry maker, let me make that clear! But I keep piddling around with this stash of beads I have and realizing how much fun it is to play with beads and wire. Oh so fun. And fast too--that's important when you're making things to sell at a craft fair.
AND look...I shopped at Joann's Fabric & Crafts store and got this tote bag for a dollar! I'm now addicted to that store--I'll probably go there with coupons in hand every week for the next few months! Oh dear.
Happy WOYWW lovely deskers. I'll be 'round for a look at your desk soon. ♥

  1. Wow, that IS a cute tote. Love the handles that look like tape measures. The beads work up nicely. That's important, as well as speed. I bought a bubble wand at a Renn Faire years ago. I still play with it in the springtime. Some of us are kids at heart! Happy WOYWW from #2.

  6. Wow, love that tote, especially the straps! What a bargain...it's probably just as well that there isn't a Joanne's in the UK, I'd never be out if there!
I love the beady things you've been making and the die cut tags make it look so professional, love it! You sound as if you've been having a lot of fun :-)

  7. OH that craft show frenzy, I remember helping my friend get her things ready and the stress she went through in doing that. It is not for me but love to be on the other side of the stand. Good idea to mount your ear rings into tags.
    That tote is fab too.

  8. Love your new tote bag! Sadly no Joannes in Canada, or at least not in my part of it. But we do have Michaels. Your earrings are very pretty, but kind of get lost in the background pattern of the tags. Good luck in your craft fairs!

  17. Love the desk view and those earrings are awesome! I have had 2 of those totes and I love it too!! ... a word of caution the bag comes apart on the seams cause they didn't back stitch it to lock it in. I glued the seams on the first bag but on the second bag I just sewed it. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by my desk and leaving a comment. Vickie #43
