WOYWW 189--Lots of Love on my Worktable

Some of the loveliest souls in the world are also the most creative--see their beautiful, mad, messy, tidy, unexpected, unmatched workspaces at Mrs. Dunnit's Stamping Grounds.

Here is mine. I may be leaving my treasured creative corner to go to my busy office this morning, but, my heart is...well, you can see...all my hearts are here! I am making a fun heart banner for Valentines Day, my favorite holiday! I have the hearts fanned out to decide on their order. Looks neat! I'll be sewing these hearts with colorful floss and stuffing them before stringing  them onto a banner.

Here is a bigger view of my worktable--the leaf is up when I have things spread out. As you can see, I have two footrests underneath, where two kitties like to nap and look out the window. The first footrest is there because I like to put my feet up--the kitties soon let me know that any attempt at my having a footrest does indeed turn into their bed.

So, out of view, I have a TV in an armoire where I like to watch my stories, like Downton Abbey, sometimes while I'm crafting. By the way--I am loving Season 3! They just aired the second episode. I was dying for Lady Edith--seriously? Old coger, leaving her at the alter!?!! And did Thomas lose his mind to go against O'Brien? Of course, I've been a Shirley MacLaine fan my whole life and was thrilled to see her and Maggie Smith together...*sigh* I could go on and on.

Oh, one more thing--Free Mr. Bates! Free Mr. Bates!

Here's another messy view of my art journal paraphernalia laying scattered around! I was having a fun time, layering and stamping away on a page. I do enjoy this magnetic cutting mat. Wasn't sure how I would like it--and at a cost of around $25, I used a coupon to get it half off, so didn't mind trying it. But I love it!
Can't wait to stitch hearts when I get home this afternoon! Have a happy week!

Eat, Write, Dream, and Stitch in your happy place!

  7. Oh, why did office stuff have to get in the way of heart making?? It's not fair....mind you, I had to go to work in school today. It was freezing...we've been at -6 today, brrrrrrrrrrr, I had four layers on whilst on playground duty.
I haven't watched Downton at all, so I can't help you with plot lines.... I love the fact that you love something so very English :)
