WOYWW 291--Warning...Very Clean Desk!

I have to say, I'm not a huge fan of a continuously clean desk. But my craft table is rarely this clean, calm and polite. It's partly because of all the holiday happenings, and partly because I now have a terrible cold and cough from, no doubt, exposing myself to huge crowds of after-Christmas shopping at the mall and Target. My sister was with me, and she has the same cold and cough!

By the way, it's What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday where we peek at each other's lovely, mad and messy workspaces around the world.

I've not posted another thing to my blog is how bad it's been. And now after posting this, I'm back to my Call the Midwife holiday special and some hot tea. Feeling a little weak. Hope this runs its course soon. Call the Midwife is making me feel better - I was so excited they aired the holiday special on PBS.

When I get better, I have plans to make a cute bracelet with those beads, start a scarf with the huge skein of pink yarn from daughter, and finish reading my Downton book I got for Christmas! Hugs!

  3. Hi Sandy! Nothing wrong with a bit of clean work space! I find it very inviting. Just screaming to be worked on! I've just watched the Christmas Special of Downton Abbey. I'm a big fan, though I didn't start watching it until earlier this year - I watched all the episodes at once back to back! Wishing you happiness and good health throughout 2015! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #26

  6. Oh Sandy, what a shame you've got a cold...get better soon :-) It's going to the shops, it's bad for your health!! And your purse :-)
You had some fun things for Christmas, didn't you? Those little beads look gorgeous, i bet they'll make a sweet bracelet. And I've been knit, knit, knitting away with the skeins of wool that Julia gave me. It's such a glorious colour, I had to dive straight in!
It still makes me smile that you, who are in the midst of the US are so in love with those Birtish programmes :-) That Downton book looks fun, you'll know how to treat the staff if you ever visit the UK!! And how to deliver a baby too, lol!
You've been such a constant support this past year, thank you for that and the great comments every week...believe me when I say that it's hugely appreciated. Let's see what mischief we can get up to in 2015, eh?!
Happy New Year,Hugs, LLJ 14 xx

  10. Oh, I woke up with a cold too. Did you send it over?lol. I hope you feel better soon. I've got a way to go as my cold has just started, but I'm sitting by a roaring fire and my hubby has just made a pot of tea. Life can't get any better.
