I ♥ My Craft Room--WOYWW 252

So I actually don't have a whole dedicated room for my craft room. It is in the corner of a master bedroom and there's a door that opens onto my greenhouse sunporch. At times the sunlight is so gorgeous. I have that little crafty corner stuffed to the brim with pieces of happiness--being all the crafty things I love...including my creations and my crafty supplies. I never pay full-price for anything, and I constantly find creative ways to get my hands on a few craft supplies almost every week! Hmm...does somebody have a problem? Oh well. It's all organized, and I don't buy what I don't have room for! So you can't call me a hoarder. Now, here is a completely different angle of my work desk today!
I was looking through one of my Stampington magazines for inspiration while enjoying a cuppa.

By the way visit Ms. Julia's workdesk linky party here - and visit my crafty tribe members in every time zone on the planet.

I made another trip to my new haunt, JoAnn's! I've discovered all the gorgeous colors of craft and bead wire--I pumped up my supply! I'm going to make some pink copper wire rings. I'm calling them "bliss rings" 'cause they're so cute and make you happy when one is on your finger. I am not going to show you the two additional crafty-themed tote bags I bought, cause then you'll know I have a problem!
I got those alphabet stamp blocks, bling stickers, and rolls of trim for a dollar each. Woo hoo! Used sales and coupons on everything else, including the gorgeous variegated machine embroidery thread. I can't wait to work on an art quilt with that. *happy sigh* On the way out the door, they gave me more coupons for next week! Boy, they've got my number.

Now, who watches "Call the Midwife" on PBS? I am thrilled beyond imagination that it is back on!! I don't think there's ever been a better character than Chummy. She just makes me happy. And they always show her or someone sewing! Love it.

Have a happy day lovely desker.

  3. Oh, yes, Call the Midwife is one of the best series ever! Have you read the books?
I too rarely buy anything at the "right" price, although I expect that deli paper is a bit cheaper where you are :) I must look on Youtube for some hints on using it :) Thanks for dropping by, and your retail haul looks fabulous too!

  4. Well, you may have had a crafty splurge but at least they were all bargains! I spent quite a lot on my pile of stuff, all necessary but not cheap! Those alphabet blocks were a bargain, weren't they? Julia will be envious, she's got a real thing about typefaces and fonts and has quite a collection of letter stamps :-)
It's such a wonderful area where your crafty desk is - the light is just beautiful. There is a really weird yellowy light here today. Apparently, we've got winds coming up from the south and it's bringing clouds of dust and sand from the Sahara desert!!! And when you look at the distance the UK is away from there, you'll realise how far away it is. All the cars and everything outside is covered in a fine layer of dust. It's weird!
So, no gardening today. I think I'll start making stuff to sell at Julia's cardmaking workshop that's on the 12th - I'm raising money for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Some desk tidies, mini craft totes, lavender bags - all stuff that's quick and easy to make. Wish me luck!!
    Hugs, LLJ 8 xx

  5. I LOVE teeny tiny text stamps! I have a gazillion of them, and add more everytime I see them. They've come right down in price but not as cheap as $1 here (let's see - cheapest I found was maybe £1.50 ) but even at that price I'd buy 5 sets and be happy :) I miss my coupons...

    Happy WOYWW!

  14. I don't have a whole craft room either but I can't say I don't buy anything I don't have space for. I have an attic and it's filled with stuff like scrap cloth and stuff I want to upcycle! I've never heard of that show. It makes me curious!
    Happy WOYWW!
