Messy Desk - Happy Crafter, Right? |
While I'm stitching up my fabric Midori travelers notebooks, I'm keeping them in this basket, which I might use to display them in a friend's shop--that, or a cute suitcase to display everything. I did fan them out a bit so you can see some of the different fabrics!
A messy closeup back on my desk--I keep a tiny cross-stitch kit in my bag at all times to stitch hearts on the go that I then can use on cards or little art quilts, and a couple of finished ones are laying there along with my little bag of stamping supplies that travels with me also.
I might be the last one to post to the workdesk party today, woo hoo! If I am...thanks for scrolling down to visit. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Adorable projects on your desk! The fabric for your notebooks is so pretty! I wonder what they look like inside.

You have a lot of fun stuff on your desk! Cute hearts!!! I still haven't gotten any Christmas decor up yet. Been trying to get a room cleaned out to bring in the decorations! Thanks for stopping by! Happy WOYWW!

How busy are you! I think that is such a great idea having a little travel bag with sewing in it to carry around. I love the selection of books you've made - the fabrics are gorgeous, and my heart leapt when I heard you had a collection of Nutcracker dolls - it's my favourite ballet for Christmas, and I've just found a nutcracker doll rubber stamp on the internet that I'm dying to get my hands on, although it will have to be for next year now!

Those are gorgeous fabrics to work with, Sandy! Your Midoris will be flying off the shelf (or out of the basket as the case may be)! Thanks for visiting earlier! You're not the last on the list! Have a lovely week! zsuzsa #34
ReplyDeleteI think the fabrics you're using for your Midori projects are just gorgeous! They ought to fly off the shelves :-). And what a great idea to have some sewing always to hand...you can always fill a spare few minutes with some cross stitch. And while I love the computer (otherwise our paths would never have crossed) I'm going to be on there less too...the schedule for my brass band is crazy busy.
ReplyDeleteI've spent today creating a grotto at the school where I used to work...all ready for Father Christmas at the school fair tomorrow evening!

You have been very busy. What a great idea to carry the cross stitch with you - there are always times to fit that in.

I'm surprised you had time to post at all! I need to take a cue from you and keep a stitching project with me at all times. There are so many moments that could be filled with being creative instead of waiting or riding in the car. Have a lovely Christmas!
