WOYWW 334--Getting together my Listers Gotta List

Over on the left pullout are my most often used stamps
I don't know why, but I often tend to arrive in the middle of things. Case in point, the lovely Listers Gotta List monthly challenge hosted by The Reset Girl. This has become such a popular thing on Instagram and they have a Facebook group, so why do I decide to try it out on the 21st of the month? I have no idea. But I really wanted to do it so I made a quick booklet for it to add in my Midori. It's just thrown together from a pad of everyday yellow lined paper. I trimmed it and added the cardstock cover, bound it in the center at the top and bottom with elastic, decorated the cover with patterned paper and washi and packing tape, and I was ready to go! Making and decorating a list is relaxing and makes me happy, so why not try the challenge.

And by the way, happy What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday! What's laying around on your workdesk in the middle of the week?

Also laying around on my desk is a stack of the cutest free stickers they put in our bag at Burger King one day! I'll take 'em! I love using stickers in my planner lately. I've also got the texture boutique out. If you look at my post on my blog from Monday you'll see I've been keeping the ole punches handy for some quick little diecuts, and those little diecuts also look super cute when you emboss them. I know my Big Shot embosses, but when that's all you need to do, the texture boutique is just little and handy! Oh, and I've also come to realize that my 7-inch tablet fits right in the front pocket of my Midori--loving it. So when I don't feel like lugging the tablet in the big cover with the keyboard, it all makes a nice package right in the Midori.

Have a happy week.

  3. Lots of lovely stuff going on - I know what you mean, I tend to join in at the end of things - I don't know why, it just kinda happens like that! I've never heard of a Texture Boutique so that is something I'm off to find out about as it sounds really interesting! I hope you have a great week, and thanks for stopping by my desk earlier,

  4. Hi Sandy Leigh,
Lots of fun things on your desk this week. I never go to Burger King - is that where you got the russian-style stickers? They are adorable!

I'm TRYING to make a sweater. I have made two vests and that's about it. The sweater I'm knitting is one where I'm trying to alter the pattern to knit it in the round so I won't have to sew up any side seams. I've gotten to the armholes and am afraid to continue! Tee hee.

Thank you for visiting me already!
    Happy WOYWW

  6. Your booklet and Midori look awesome, Sandy! And what do you know - I was just looking at the Texture Boutique online. Embossing is one thing my Cameo can't do. But I'm not sure I need it. I mean it would be nice to have, but the main thing I would use it for would be to emboss craft foam with my stencils to use as texture plates/stamps for the gelli plate and I'm not even sure it would work. In a perfect world, we would have all the toys to experiment with! Thanks for visiting earlier!

  7. Ooh, I'm the same...always playing catch up in a project! But what the heck, as long as you enjoy the process! That's handy, your tablet fitting into your Midori , perhaps that's a good selling point for the future. Don't try and do too much though, work in some personal down time....it's good for you!
