Quick Fix Summer Slippers

This is why it is good to go shopping in your own closet! I was actually looking for some blouses to cut up and make into other things (yes, I do this) and I found these old bamboo summer slippers, that maybe were once upon a time cute, but had lost their charm--and their bow.

Here's what they looked like when I found them smooshed up on a shelf.

I smoothed them out, and fixed them in about five minutes. (Not all crafts have to take hours.) All it took was four flowers and four glue dots--those things are extremely adhesive!

Done! Nothing like slipping into a stylin' pair of bamboo slippers on a warm summer evening.
