WOYWW 373--My Hearts Glitter

I don't know why my necklace is laying there.
I found this perfect little stack of glitter paper. Because of its small size, no cutting needed before I ran it through the Big Shot with heart and flower dies. I just had a lovely time of diecutting. I'm dreaming of making little cards to sell, and stocking up on decorations for my planner and scrapbook pages. Yay me! I've been meaning to do this for a long time, and my Big Shot missed me. I actually had to dust it off!
Perfect size stack for diecutting
I took a sturdy box that a mailer came in, snipped off the lid, and now it's a perfect little tray for my paper scraps.
I've got plans for these glittery scraps!
Well...look at me go. I was feeling so organized, we took a trip to our local gigantic At Home store, and they had THE best prices I've ever seen on acrylic organizers, so I got one finally for my nail polishes, and I love it.
Just a nice day at my happy place--my crafty corner.

  7. I love glittery card, it doesn't make quite as much mess and using real glitter! I'm looking forward to seeing the cards you make with those lovely hearts, and I'm coveting the nailvarnish holder - mine are just stuffed in a plastic lunch box! I shall have to have a mooch on the internet!
Thanks so much for the visit to mine earlier, I hope you have a lovely week,

  8. You are very modest with your die cuts scraps. My box is huge, but then I use up every tiny scrap of card so can't throw anything away that's big enough to get a tiny die cut out off, it's not good!!!
Love your nail polish organiser. Mine clutter up my dressing table, I'm like a magpie with those too. I love all the mad colours at the moment, my nails are currently blue after my dear hubs bought me a new polish last week.

  10. Sorry I'm so late in replying, have been away for a couple of days - we were down in Wales scattering Dad's ashes on our special beach. Sad but a good thing to do.
I LOVE sparkle and glitter, so I really enjoyed looking at your desk today. I really like the shot with the off cuts in the stripy box, very abstract! In fact your storage boxes are great, I do love it when things are organised!
We are starting to pack and sort things out. Our buyers have to be out of their house by 30th August, so things might move quite quickly. We have found a house we'd like to rent (and which accepts cats) so we'll do that for a few months while looking for another place to buy. Quite relaxed about it all :-)

  11. What a fabulous feeling to finally get to a project you've been wanting to do. Love the glittery paper. Thanks for a heads up on the acrylic organizers. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect one. I have to be in town Thursday. I'll pop over to At Home. Creative Blessings! Kelly #36 (last week)
