WOYWW 318--My Glam Plan

Join us for What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday -- the best desker party on the planet!

It is early morning, and remember that little notebook that I turned into my business planner for my side hustle things, like craft selling and my writing projects? Well, I decided to break it into two notebooks--one for my writing projects and my blog, and one for my craft making/selling and Etsy. I made some inspirational print-outs to slip in the front covers, and with the addition of some sparkly washi tape it is all glammed up and fun to use and keep everything organized.

Now I realize that all of this could be digital. And of course, I actually write on the computer, research publishers, etc. on the computer. However, there is a little-ole-lady inside of me that LOVES paper. I love writing lists, organizing, and no doubt the paper love is why I became a scrapbooker. So it's only natural I keep hardcopy style planners and organizers. And you all will thank me when a solar flare hits the earth and we lose the satellites and the internet! Okay, maybe you won't thank me, because most of my sweet desker friends live all over the planet and we need the internet to communicate! *sigh*
Best thing I've bought lately is a huge package of sparkly washi tape
Now these Avery notebooks are so inexpensive, and I love the size, so I'll give my organizing a year to make sure I'm really using this system. Then I might treat myself to some Filofax domino style planners--I think I've secretly wanted an authentic Filofax for years.
Tomorrow I'm posting about my scrapbook paper clipboards. Finally! Now I'm on to more organizing because I've found the perfect caddy for my gelli plate stuff so it doesn't have to just sit around on a cookie sheet! I hope you are happy, well, and have a wonderful week.

  2. I just love your orananizers - and there is definitely a little-ole-lady in me who loves paper too! Computers have their place but you can't beat a hand written list! Hope you have a great week,

  4. There's nothing quite like having something to touch and actually hold in your hand is there? Our internet connection here at our new home is so slow that there are lots of frustrating times spent on the computer.

  6. I like a hand written record of things - someone might read it in years to come when they will come across it in a dusty box somewhere. That will never happen with a computer doc that they have no access to! x Jo

  7. Imagine if no one wrote anything down....no recipes of my mums that takes me back to being a small girl, no notes and cards from my boys, no love letters....life would be poorer, that's for sure.
I had such a fab day with the girls yesterday...as you can tell, there was a lot of laughing and nit too much crafting but oh, it was fun. Vileness us what you iron on the back of the fabric to stiffen it slightly. It just made it easier to guide the fabric around. But I found that my stash us tiddly compared to Jo and Annie's! I can smugly tell my hubby that sooo virtuous :-)

  8. I am a paper writer too. I love to make lists for shopping, and menu for the week and a to-do list etc. And then quite often I lose the list that I need.... (typical!)
    Thanks for stopping at mine,
    have a great week,
