Happy What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! I've been in my own little corner in my own little chair trying to teach myself crochet! However, my desk is busy with a little tag making, and I had just finished up a scissor holder necklace (I'll post that story Thursday). It's just a busy week, and there's a mosquito flying around me right now, and daughter and I just finished watching a movie, Easy A. Life is good...and I hope I see your desk in the morning!
I can't live without my hole punch grommet maker!
Found my little organizer thing, and I'm filling it with mini projects for on the go!
We had a crochet lesson at craft club a few months ago - I was NOT a natural... abandoned, never to pick up a crochet hook again... good luck! Helen 22
Keep the faith with the crochet... it WILL come, I promise you! I found I was all fingers and thumbs at the beginning and then it all just clicked and now I whizz along and, at last, understand the methods and why you have to do certain things like chain up 3 at the beginning of a row. It's taken a while to sink into this ancient brain...but it's there now!! I've been sewing loads these past few days, all stuff to send to other WOYWWers for their charities. A combination of rainy days and not feeling too clever have meant a very productive time in my crafty room! Hugs, LLJ #58 xx
Good luck with the crocheting! Haven't tried that since high school! Ancient history :) Looks like pink is a fave color. Lovely desk this week! Happy WOYWW! Nan G #3
Ah ha! You have the same hole-punch, grommet maker as me! I call it a Crop-o-dile, which was its marketed name and I like to think of it as having a kind of snappy personality! Oh dear, there's no hope for my madness, these days! I've never learned to crochet. I must take my auntie up on her offer to teach me sometime. Happy WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #45
I love to crochet, and I love doilies. It reminds me of weaving a web..keeps my hand busy while hubby fiddles with the remote. Be well Thanks for the peek #92 Carole

Hi Sandy - thanks for your visit. I'm glad you liked the pincushions and yes I did design them myself. I love working with felt - it's so easy to have fun with as it DOESN'T FRAY! Have a fun week MMx

Crochet is well worth learning! Once you 'get it' it will be easy and you will do it without even thinking about it! Happy WOYWW! ♥ Karen ♥ 87 x
