Happy What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday!
It was a moment in time when I had pulled down my little junk journal
last night...there on the upper left...a homemade creature I put
together last year from two small outdated planners and scrap papers and
I love that thing for art journaling...and then I had my big to-do list
book, the pink one on the left, and my Midori traveler's notebook there
on the right which has my planner, another list book (but not to-do
lists), a side hustle book, and a homemade dashboard and folder thing I
love to carry with me all in one book. I was doing something in all of
them! *sigh* Paper love.
Also
laying there is a ring of washi...most of my washi tapes are on big
rings...my beautiful box which just holds the current smaller bits and
bobs on my desk and I think there's a pink post-it pad laying there and
this week's morning coffee mug featuring I Love Lucy. Look at that juicy
stack of chalk ink pads and a little dessert cup of gel pens--love it.
Here's a closer look at the page I'm about to add some verses to. The page on the right is deli paper monoprinted on my gelli plate. And the page on the left is from an old planner with some ribbon stitched at the top.
And
now I'm leaving you with a little thought I made in picmonkey...that's
my hand there and my notebook...if someone picks on your way of doing
things, or makes you feel silly for writing lots of to-do lists or having a planner (because they don't think it's important), yep, here's what you say!
Have a lovely week lovelies.

'To Do' lists! that's perfectly normal isn't it? Where would we be without them! I am forever making lists and even number them in the order they must be completed. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x 11
ReplyDeleteThanks for the brilliant idea of a twiddle purse. I agree a lot of folks might like something to keep a few special items in but also it could have a few trimmings to twiddle - watch this space!! Your crafty activities are lovely!x Jo
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous collection of notebooks - and I love the saying, unfortunately I know one of two people I should use that phrase on!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, and thanks for stopping by earlier,

Oh Brilliant. You Do You - such a polite way to say what I usually do! Loving the collection of stationery and the need for separate books..the junk journal is gorgeous. Wait, everything is gorgeous, I love to see your desk through your eyes.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post, I'd call it organized loveliness, with added zest, inspiration and color. Makes for adrenaline flow and smiles. Enjoy a lovely weekend.
ReplyDelete\Hello Sandy. Oh I am loving your journals you have made from scrap paper and I always have a book full of to do's....lol. Love crossing things off when done and less is forgotten. Which reminds me need another notebook for my household and DH business to do's. Yippy a mini shopping trip. Thanks for visiting me earlier and have a wonderful weekend. Hugs ~Anne L#3
ReplyDeleteI have books and more books but unlike you I never seem to get anything done in any of them. I keep working on it…a work in progress I am! Have a great week. Vickie #45
