Now to soldier on through the week, exercising, resting the back injury, ice and heat on it, and then more rest! Because Friday night I must make it to a Cardinals baseball game where my nephews get to walk out on the field to be recognized with their hockey team as the state champions! Woo hoo! And then I've got a garden to plant--already a week late because of a hot water heater disaster, the same day my back went out! Hope my plants can hang in there.
Have a wonderful rest of the week lovelies.

Oh no about your back! :( That's no fun. At least you had some good tv to watch!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy Leigh...ouch, not good to hurt ones back, hope your're back to 100% soon. Great pics of your desk and room...lots going on, cool rings. Cheers and get well soon RobynO#73
ReplyDeleteSounds painful :^(((( Praying you get to go to the game but I think the garden should wait a bit!! :^) patsy
ReplyDeleteHearing your complaints, I become mindful with gratitude that I am not suffering with pain. I hope you will soon be well and motivated to play in the dirt. I'm happy to her you were mothered...hand and foot. Be well Carole #44
ReplyDeleteSure hope your pain lessens soon! Nothing worse than backpain. I am smiling that your sewing machine has a fun name too! Hope you get to the game. I am a Met fan and am so happy that we have been the Yanks so far both of the subway series games so far. Tonight they go to Citifield! I can't get tickets to these games as they are coveted. But I can pop corn and enjoy it in my house..Winnie#57

ReplyDeleteCrumbs, another injured crafter! It's a more dangerous activity than I'd thought! Seriously, I hope you get better really soon - be kind to yourself, and don't try to do too much too soon. Have a good week, taking it easy. Hugs, Chris # 23
ReplyDeleteOh blimey girl, you too? I'm so sorry to hear that you've done your back in. It's the daftest things that can do it...mine was carrying heavy sacks of garden rubbish. However, I have to tell you that I'm ok now, it took about three weeks but no pain at all. So, take care and don't overdo things and hopefully you'll get there too.
ReplyDeleteI was away last weekend, down seeing to my dad in Wales and didn't have access to the Internet otherwise I'd have emailed you on Mothers Day. The first one without her is just awful...although I couldn't contact you, I was thinking of you all day, honey. It still hurts to walk past the racks of Mothers Day cards in the shops eve now...... But, they wouldn't want us to get all down about it, would they? So you and I can go boldly forth, seeking out new frontiers..... :-)
I must take some pics of my garden and send them to you, everything's coming along nicely now the frosts have passed. I planted lots of stuff out in the garden when I got back home and it's looking good!
Hugs, LLJ 22 xx
This is why you're my soul sister - you are the sweetest. Thank you dearest!
DeleteI hope your back is feeling better. Having suffered with my back in the past I know how you must be feeling. It takes time but if you do the right things it will get better.
