What a big mess on my desk. Happy What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday lovely deskers! Link your desk up right here and join this fun world wide desk hopping party!
As for me and my workdesk...I've been playing in my art journal with my new stamps from Unity. That's about it! I've never really been into stamping, honestly, so I am toying with the idea of doing a monthly club for a while to get some cuteness in my stamp stash--I think it's what I need for my cards, scrapbooking and journaling! My knitting has been going everywhere with me--even my eye checkup, try knitting while your eyes are dilated, and I've been running around getting my plants ready for the garden. I'll have an early-May garden gossip on Thursday. Other than that, I'm tired! Sometimes I act like I'm 30 and forget I'm in my fifties. That's why I get tired!

I can't even knit with looking at the needles constantly without making mistake...watching TV and knitting would be impossible for me! #28
ReplyDeleteI adore the colour of that yarn! Recently I've found that the colours that I crochet or knit with have quite an effect on me. I'm doing a baby blanket in muted teals and white and I'm not enjoying doing it at all! I've got a stash busting idea lined up for after that and I can't wait to dive into all the reds, yellows, pinks and oranges. Maybe I need a Caribbean holiday - fancy joining me for a Pina Colada somewhere exotic?!
ReplyDeleteI suffer from 'forgetting I'm 50' too....dunno whether I'm more aware of the passing of time but I need more hours in the day...sigh. I am trying hard to get to bed at a reasonable time, but not always succeeding.
Need a big hug from you today, dear friend...it's the 2nd anniversary of Mum passing away and I'm sad......
Hugs, LLJ 2 xx
How cute are those buttons??? The yarn looks yummy, too, and new stamps are always fun!

ReplyDeleteLove the journal page. Happy crafting, Angela x 45
Be patient...more Chummy is planned! Love the chunky yarn, what a great colour. I'm not big into them, but the owls are very cute.! I'm a Unity fan, such wonderful quality.
ReplyDeleteOwls, yarn and knitting - I just love dropping in here! x Jo
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy,
ReplyDeleteCute little mini stamps. I always enjoy looking through the $1 bin at Michael's. Being a fan of Mary Engelbreit I've bought some stamps made out of her art.
Hmm, knitting hearts. I should try that. I finally finished a baby blanket (actually twice). I miscalculated and the first one came out more like a shawl than a blanket so I ripped it all out. Now it's done (for the second time) and is the perfect size! Yay. Started a lap blanket now as another gift. I have a sleeveless sweater that I want to knit for myself so I'm knitting whenever I can -- but NOT with my eyes dilated! tee hee
Happy belated WOYWW
Peace, Kay (17)
