The Coffee Keeps Pouring the Floss Keeps Flying--WOYWW 383

Happiest of Wednesdays Lovely! It's What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday I have a friend who calls his wife "Lovely-Lovely" and so that's what we all call her! But we're lovelies too.

Anyhoo...yep...I'm drinking coffee and cross-stitching. I'm obsessed with this dollhouse cross-stitch. But at least I've arrived in the October room right on time. What you see there is the September room, the first room on the first floor, but it is a double room because it has the dining room part in it which is the October room. I am well into the dining room now, because this was yesterday, and I can't wait to do the cute kitchen! Oh my goodness.

Too bad I also have to work, do laundry, chores, cook, clean, feed cats...I swear I'm just in a mood to hole up and stitch and watch Netflix!
Oh I won a happy mail prize by the way! Just a box of $25 of random craft supplies from Factory Direct Craft. There is a lot of fun stuff in there too.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Glad you like my owls, one is from a kit I was given and the other is screen cleaner! Glad you are inspired to do the cross stitch, it is great when something gets you like that, although not so good for the housework, but I'm not good for either at present. Oh well BJ#37

  5. Love cross stitch but don't do it anymore haven't the good eyesight. Getting old is a bore.
Your 'lovely' brought back memories of when I used to do craft fairs, and customers used to come to the stall and say Aren't they lovely. or even loverly depending where in the country we where. Happy memories.

  9. Well, that's a nice box of goodies you won - have fun with all that great stuff! And well done on being on target with the cross stitch, actually, I think I'd be itching to crack on with the kitchen too, lol! I am really enjoying embroidering the hearts, I actually had to buy some more white floss the other day. And guess what? After selling all my bead stash, what do I need now but some red beads to put on the hearts.. grrrrrr :-D

  10. I totally understand the want to hole up and do something repetitive. Sounds wonderful. Alas. . . there's always so much more to do and get done. The cross-stitch does seem to be coming along well! Oh, and congrats on the winnings!
