Isn't your desk your happy place? Big-sigh...I just love crafting here, drinking coffee, putting on my makeup for the day, and sometimes it does get piled up when I'm diecutting and have scrapbooking or planning stuff spread out.
By the way, I love this combo journal/coloring book I found at Barnes & Noble. When I'm tired of stitching and just want to color and doodle, it's perfect.
So today is relatively calm with me cross-stitching on the May room of the dollhouse pattern I'm working from...this is the first big pattern I've done in a long time, and I forgot how relaxing it is. I'm very ahead of the game right now and almost have the May room, which is fifth room, first one on the second floor, almost done! I have a long craft list piling up in the meantime! I missed the desker group last week--got a checkup at the eye doctor and did not feel like looking at the computer screen! It went very well though.
The 5th room of the dollhouse is bunk beds--so cute. |
Happy Wednesday.

You've created a really lovely, relaxing area to work in and just be yourself - it's so pretty with all those little touches of pink - even your embroidery hoop! You really are whizzing through the cross stitch, May's room is really cute with the little bunk beds.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week,

Your colouring journal looks lovely - so chunky and tactile and I just love those rounded corners. Well done for being ahead of schedule with your cross stitch - it looks amazing already! Happy Wednesday! zsuzsa #32
ReplyDeleteOoooh, what a lovely space you have, so bright and cheerful... And YES! I agree, I just love my sudio space, referred to as the Happy Place, and even my hubby sends me there when I get too grumpy, grin. Your cross stitching photos brought back so many memories, as it was something I used to do BEFORE I discovered scrapbooking, and your post might just get me pulling out some of those older projects! Please do pop on over if you have a moment, I just LOVE visitors... Smile!!! Scrapbook Lynne WOYWW #43
ReplyDeleteA lovely space there, Sandy. Such an encouraging place to sit, and indeed, dream, whilst working. Your cross stitch is lovely - I used to do huge amounts of it - but my older eyes find it more difficult now.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Love your desk Sandy, so girly and welcoming. Love that you're ahead of the stitching, those days bunk beds are so cute!
ReplyDeleteNow there's a posh desk with your Chanel No5! I too love crafting and drinking coffee but the only make up I put on most days are some eyebrows - hair got darker but eyebrows still blonde (invisible) The dolls house x-stitch looks super - I downloaded the pattern for the stitchers in the Wednesday group and you make me feel like doing it myself - I know I have all the stuff in the stash. Happy crafting x Jackie 18
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little cross stitch picture and such a pretty desk/post today Sandy! x Jo

ReplyDeleteYour desk looks so bright and cheerful! Your cross stitch is coming along wonderfully. I think it was from visiting your desk each week that I finally pulled out cross stitch again. I too had forgotten how relaxing it could be!
