WOYWW 358--Work It Like a Boss

Good Wednesday to you! I have no idea why I put that in my title--I guess if I was the craft boss around here...which I am...my desk would be piled up with crafty loveliness...and so would my lap. And here it is, on my lap, my cross-stitch room of the month for April is just the little sunporch on the end of the third floor of the dollhouse and it is almost done. Yeeyah! Underneath that, I was making an entry in my food exercise journal, and I'm only showing it to be encouraging. This isn't my first time at the food journaling rodeo. But, let me tell you, I've been so much better about it when employing my craftiness. I use a cute smashbook datestamp with sayings on it, washi tape, stickers and doodling. Really keeps my food/exercise journal much more interesting! And when I post in there any results, like when I occasionally weigh myself, or get a checkup done, I can go back and find it very easily.
And here's crafty boss lady's desk! I was drinking morning coffee, playing my game on the tablet, making pom poms and planning when to use those Charming Charlie coupons! So, I hope you find me at the end of the WOYWW list this week. Have a lovely day lovely.

  3. A crafting boss! Made me giggle! The cross stitch looks uncreased and clean - never mind how beautiful - how do you do that! I'm impressed by your nfitness diary, I can't get mich past day 4 before I give it up. My daughter, who will never do anything crafty, has taken to diary/journaling and washi tape and smash... I don't get it!!

  7. great cross stitching and good luck with the food journalling. am assuming it doesn't involve sticking bits of your food in the journal as that would be messy (sorry; it's early!) Helen #1

  8. Your cross stitch is looking so pretty, and isn't it lovely when you finish a significant part of it - a great feeling of achievement. I hope you have a good week and thank you so much for stopping by my desk earlier,

  9. I love the power of your title! Nothing wrong with being "the Boss" LOL. Would love to see your doll house. I have made two of them and loved doing it. Your stitching is amazing, I don't love doing that but I so admire those that do it and can stick with it. The food journal sounds like an awesome idea since I count calories anyway, a journal would be much more fun!
    Happy Creative week to you!

  10. So much loveliness on your desk, Sandy! I'm intrigued about your food and exercise journal! I've recently embarked on a healthy eating/exercise regime myself - perhaps I should consider starting one too! Thanks for your earlier visit! Oreo says meow! Have a lovely week! zsuzsa #32
