I hope you are having a creative season of fun and happiness! It is What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday over at Miss Julia's Stamping Ground. I'm linking up my busy worktable right here for the world to see!
My pearl cotton embroidery thread and little stitched ornaments |
I've had the stars and circles dies going in the Big Shot for several projects. Then I saw the cutest FB post from Stephanie Ackerman with layered circle stitched ornaments, and that was it! I had to stitch some little ornaments which can also do double duty on my Valentines tree later.
Stitching makes me happy, especially when there's 8 inches of snow on the ground.
I was cozy in my craft room for a few days, but now I'm out and about in it on the snow-covered streets again. I'm laying in wait for the Urban Decay Naked Palatte 3 to appear at Sephora--and I'm online searching for the Bigz dies I need.
A tag for an upcoming post, and stitched ornament. |
I've also got a gingerbread house to bake and make, and finishing up touches on the big Christmas tree.
A snowy view of the Ozarks from my crafty corner |
So wherever you are on the planet, have fun at your worktable today! Don't let life's business take you away from being creative, ever! Cheers and happy Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteLove the view from your craft room. You have a lovely view. And those little stitched ornaments are adorable. Of course, what caught my eye was the card with the trees on it. I have a thing for trees. Have a great WOYWW from #1.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your crafty corner...it just looks wonderful!! And your ornaments are grand. There is something about the season that brings out the tradition in me. These are really sweet. Looks like you are enjoying the season. May that continue.

Love your photography. But then I tell you this every time I visit. The ornaments are very cute. It's great when you find new ideas for products you already have. I also like seeing all of those pretty gold stars. Is that a card with the trees on it? Very cute.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!

ReplyDeleteLove the little stitched ornaments, I NEED to do some too especially as you can't buy purple decorations this year for love nor money and I have purple as my tree decoration colour this year! BJ#37
ReplyDeleteI love your stitched ornaments - such prettiness and a gingerbread house to bake - that fills me with joy! This is a beautiful post as always. I love your creative approach to life, Sandy! You inspire me to create and that makes me happy too! Have a great Wednesday! Julie Ann xx

ReplyDeleteHI there, what a pretty view from your window - it's getting colder here but no snow yet. Those litle stitched ornaments are so sweet and I love your stitched blog banner too btw. Happy WOYWW! Annie #60
ReplyDeleteLove all the trees, stars and hearts on your blog, Sandy! Not so sure about the snow, however.... :-) It's cold here today but I don't think there's snow on the way yet! I have never in my entire life made a gingerbread house...woah, that's so wrong and something that I shall have to rectify. Do you have any good tips, useful recipe etc? I don't know if one will get made before this Christmas but I'd love to have a go next year!
ReplyDeleteKeep warm and happy!
Hugs, LLJ 43 xxxx
