A little stitching, a little kitty love...What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday 324

My midori goes everywhere
Happy What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday lovelies! See what's on my desk again? My little 14-year-old baby Minnie. It was one of those mornings where she was constantly attached to me whether I was at the desk, doing laundry, in the kitchen...she's my little shadow.

She loves getting right in the middle of my craftiness.

Back to school time has ramped up the busyness of my days. I'm still dreaming of and working on stitching up midori travelers notebooks, but between work and a big family project, my craft desk is missing me a little lately. All I do is perch here in the morning with my coffee (after the treadmill where I'm watching Last Tango In Halifax), write in my Midori, get on the computer a little, and then I dash off to my day. *sigh*

I hope to have more crafting time and energy soon. Now I'm dashing off to a few desks to get some inspiration!

  1. Love the kitty - she's so cute, and obviously very helpful! I absolutely love Last Tango in Halifax - I'm hoping there will be a new series this autumn, it really is one of my favourite dramas. Hope you get some time to yourself for crafting soon,

  5. So lovely to see your beautiful kitty keeping you company being creative with you, Sandy. Unfortunately our 2 are banned from my ARTHaven because Beatrice (15) is far too nosey for her own good and just causes problems all the time! Phoebe would sit quietly with me like Minnie but I can't have one and not the other lol! Beatrice won't come near me at the moment because of the chemo which we think she can smell on me. Your book cover is so pretty - what gorgeous fabric with all the little Russian dolls on it.

Thanks for your lovely feisty comment - yes, kicking the cancer on the butt! It's not going to stand a chance with SHOSHI around I can tell you lol lol!! Feeling pretty pooped today not surprisingly given where I am in this cycle, but next week I should be back creating again. Meantime, having fun on the laptop between naps, and just resting and going with the flow. So glad you liked what I made for Shaz. She is so thrilled and has posted loads of comments, and it's completely made my day!

    Happy WOYWW,

  8. Days get busy when school starts. I remember those days!

Minnie is adorable, but I don't allow Squiggles and Bleubeard in my craft room. I always say that glue and cat fur do not make mixed media (grin).

Thanks for the visit earlier and happy WOYWW from #2, because technically, it's still Tuesday in my world.

  9. Awwwww, Minnie is so gorgeous! Give her a tickle from me :-) Harry and Ron, my cats, aren't allowed upstairs in my craft room...i don't want cat hairs everywhere...it's bad enough downstairs anyway!
I know what you mean about not having time to craft...I've done very little, been too busy with sons, family stuff and visits. I'm supposed to be job hunting too, but haven't got very far with it yet. Something will turn up, probably when i least expect it :-)
Sorry this reply is so late, I've had visitors for three days!
