WOYWW 346--I'm Crafty, Even When I'm Not Doing Anything!

Happy What's-On-Your-Workdesk-Wednesday! I thought I would have accomplished a lot more craftiness this month! But all I seem to do at the craft table is sip coffee, watch Netflix shows or YouTube desk tours, reorganize stuff, and cross-stitch. Maybe after I'm more reorganized I'll actually get into making mode! So here's the desk. Quite clean. Quite boring.
We've had some crazy icy weather here in the Ozarks with more to come tonight! I think that's why, this time of year, I just want to sit around and stitch! So there's my fat Midori I made...my planner is in there and my favorite thing, my list book where I keep every kind of list you can think of! I actually refer to it a lot. Drinking coffee, getting ready to make oatmeal, and get myself to the office!
Over on the side is my little leather bible with the bee on the front--it's falling apart a little bit. But you know the saying, if your bible is falling apart, then you're probably not! And there's the adorable dollhouse I've started stitching. It has 12 rooms. It's the first big cross-stitch I've done in years! That is masking tape on the edge of the aida cloth to keep it from raveling.
Had to show you my new Koi watercolors in the pocket field sketch box. They are all pristine and unused, but hopefully not for long! Now I must make my way around a few other desks as missed last week. Have a happy Wednesday.

  1. Coffee and oatmeal! That's what I've just had - only we call it porridge! Winter warmers - that's what we need in these freezing temperatures. Hope your watercolours will not stay pristine for long - it's always the hardest to make the first move! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #47

  2. Cross stitch totally counts, but those beautiful fresh watercolors are begging for you to paint!

And your Dolldori is still the cutest planner I've ever seen.

  3. I love your Bible cover with the bee on it. Beautiful leather too.
Your paintbox is so pristine. It won't be for long! Please show us what you have painted when you start using it.
    Have a good week,

  4. Hi Sandy, love the paintbox. I too get very easily distracted by You-Tube, and Pinterest, lol. Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #16xxx

  5. I reckon it's your unconscious mind telling you to chill and just do what you fancy! I've done very little sewing, just enough to fulfil my charity obligation and yarn wise, I'm like a butterfly flitting from one thing to another. I just want to hibernate too, it's been very cold here (at last!) and the wood burner is just too alluring :-) and that's ok, it was crazy in the run up to Christmas so it's ok to chill now. Hope you're ok!

  6. Love your Disney mug in the background! I got caught at my desk watching Youtube. It can be very addicting.

  7. Happy WOYWW. A lovely cosy scene. I used to do a lot of cross stitching. Started in 1995 and my stitchy bug seemed to leave me about 3 years ago. I have still got a few little kits sitting waiting for me, but not got the urge to start them yet. Ali x #45

  8. Aren't new paints just the nicest thing. Have fun with them. I think we like to hibernate in the winter so there's nothing wrong in drinking coffee and internet browsing. Have fun and keep warm
